Two Love Story projects - for Blue Fern Studios

Hello!
It's time to share two more project which I created in February with BFS Love Story collection, BFS chipboards and stamps. On my side bar you will find links to BFS blog and YT channel, lots and lots of inspiration can be found there, don't miss!

I have used some plain chipboards which I think match perfectly for the colours here. The branch is randomly dabbed with gesso. The heart is primed with gesso and covered with glossy accents and embossed with a distress powder.
Chipboards used:
Spring Branch, Lace Heart Border, word set Laughter, Happy , Smile, Layering Stems

My second project:

I used Love Story stamp sets 1 & 2 to fill up the background with the stamp collage.
Chipboards: Circle Vine, Mixed Chains. The framed is primed with gesso and painted with crackle paste.
Thanks for popping in today and leaving a word, it's so appreciated!

Little pieces of our story - Prima PPP

Hi everyone!
Today's post is a bit special, first of all I just realised I have passed a 400- mark and this is my post # 401 :) Secondly, this is certainly the biggest scrapbook project I've done so far.
It is a wooden multi-photo frame size 25 x 55 cm, which makes it a bit tricky to photograph. It was plain white from the start and I decorated it with Prima supplies, using Prima February PPP as an inspiration.

I started of by decorating the frame with the bits of paper and notecards. I used bits and pieces from many Prima collections. I used soft matte gel to adhere the paper and seal the surface.
Next step was to brush it with a layer of gesso to tone down the contrasts and apply the stencil. Prima heavy white gesso was used for both steps.
When it dried it was ready to add embellishments and some splashes of colour with watercolours.

Here is the colour inspiration, Prima PPP February

Thank you for stopping by today, have a great week everyone!

Calendar 2015 project - for Maja Design

It's time for another Maja Design project!
My latest one is a family calendar for 2015. I divided the year in tertials so that each of our kids would get one page. There is also a whole year page, decorated with Maja papers.
If you're curious what Maja Design collections I have used for this project, head on to Maja blog!
